Happy November! @ 2:45 PM

It's November! You know what time it is... actually, you don't. But, I'd like to establish that every new month I will share things I am obsessed with. Kind of like those favorite videos on YouTube... only not on YouTube and a little different. At the beginning of a new month, I'll just share the things I'm loving right now, ranging from music to food to whatever. So, I'll start with music. Yeah, you guessed it: Electric Feel by MGMT is my everlasting obsession, but other music I'm really dancing to this month/week/period of time seeing as it changes sporadically is Peacemaker by Green Day, Short Skirt/Long Jacket by Cake, She Loves Everybody by Chester French, Last Night on Earth by Green Day, More Than a Feeling by Boston, The (Shipped) Gold Standard by Fall Out Boy and Mama's Room by Under the Influence of Giants. Funny story about that last song- so I got it off my mom's computer via flash drive, and when I loaded it onto my computer, the album artwork didn't show up, so I had to right click>Get Album Artwork, and this picture popped up of two black guys sitting acting all gangster. I didn't think of it much, as I was in a rush, but I thought "Hey, 'Mama's Room' isn't exactly the rap song... nor does it sound like it was sung by a black group..." but I wasn't one to judge. Next time I looked at it, I looked at the album cover, and compared it to the one on my mom's computer. On her computer, it was a blue scheme with four white men on a plane, with mannequins surrounding them. That's when I noticed that I did not have the right album cover... so I deleted the one on my computer and tried again. I got the same album cover. I made sure the artist/album name was right, then tried again. SAME THING. Then I looked at the word on the wrong cover: "Unda da Influence" instead of the correct version: "Under the Influence of Giants". I laughed really hard, then copy>pasted the right album cover in. It's all good now. But I still can't get over how the heck I overlooked the words! Ha ha ha...
Anyway, back on track. Some food I'm loving- candy! I have tons from Halloween. :D I am particularly infatuated with Kit Kats, Butterfingers and of course Hershey bars. As for drinks, I'm craving some cider, but I honestly don't know where to get some. x) I am in LOVE with Simply Lemonade, it tastes so good and reminds me of this lemonade I used to get in New Mexico and the mall. What's another thing I'm really liking? Ooh! Silver eyeliner. I use it sometimes and just on the inner corners of my eyes and it looks AWESOME, it really brightens my eyes, and it's not very IN YOUR FACE, but it's nice and soft, but effective. Cardigans. They're so cute and you can wear them different ways, they're amazing. I need more. I think that's basically it... ha ha I know there is more, but if I remember, I'll add to this post.

This month- things that have been irking me are people who underestimate things, like people who think Speech Team is easy, for example and all you have to do is talk about stuff. First, NO, it's actually hard. I'd like to see you get up in front of a bunch of sophisticated people and give a speech that is supposed to be funny. It gets competitive in High School! It's not all semi-lowkey as middle school was, no no no. Another thing, is when people say "I TOLD YOU SO!" whether or not they even "told you so". Like if you're just wondering something, and you can't quite remember a certain thing, so you ask someone and they say it's this instead of that, and you're like "okay, that's what I thought" and someone else is like "HA HA I TOLD YOU IT WAS THIS AND NOT THAT!" Okay, first of all- when exactly did you tell me it was this and not that? I wasn't saying that I'm right and you're wrong and I ended up being wrong, no, I didn't even choose sides. I was just wondering because I couldn't remember. That annoys the crap out of me, and you really just have to experience it yourself to get the full gist of what I'm saying. Something else, that shouldn't really bother me because it's not my problem, but is when people have NO COMMON SENSE, and have to ask about EVERY SINGLE THING, when really, if you just sat down and thought about for a second, you'd get it.

I'm getting really busy now, I have Library first Monday of every month, Science Olympiad every Tuesday (plus Gymnastics), Speech every Wednesday (plus ANTM and Dance), CSI, FlashForward and Project Runway on Thursday, and, well, nothing on Friday. But Thursdays and Fridays are lame lame lame because of my parent's schedules. Whatever. I like it though, there's less time for being bored. However, there is still homework piled on top of that. I'm in for a busy year.

Oh, hai there.
